• Durable metal roller with compact, concealed chain-driven clutch.
• Bottom rod is wrapped in fabric for a smooth, finished look.
• Adjustable weights in bottom rod so shade remains perfectly balanced.
• A new chain-driven clutch system, with a continuous cord pulley, has replaced older spring-loaded systems.
• This means that the shade can be positioned at any level with ease, allowing shades to line up evenly.

Options:

• SoftRise lifting system operates like a standard spring shade when lowered, but raises gently and smoothly when released using the decorative pull that are shown below.
• Minimum width is 27"

Fabric Choices:
Choosing the right fabric for your window will ensure that your light and privacy concerns will be satisfied. We have grouped the fabrics for the Remembrance roller shades according to light and privacy control features.

Sheer Fabrics: allows light to enter while reducing glare. Softly focuses view to to outside. No privacy.

Sheer Delite - a woven linen like look and feel. 100% Polyester - fabric width is 77". Sheer Delite is available to 77" wide and 120" in height.

Semi-Sheer Fabrics: (Allow soft, diffused light in for moderate privacy. Depending upon the style and colour, light and dark areas may be visible through semi-sheer shades, but detailed features will be obscured. Dark coloured fabrics provide greater privacy and room darkening, while light colours filter and soften harsh sunlight.)

Cortina - a combination of vinyl coated fiberglass and polyester woven into a unique semi-sheer mesh. Flame resistant. Cortina can be turned (railroaded) width for length, but will have a visible seam when wider than 73” and longer than 64”.

Semi-Opaque Fabrics: (Allow only filtered light in for privacy. These fabrics provide a high degree of privacy; someone looking through a semi-opaque rated shade into a lighted room would see only vague shapes. Deep coloured fabrics are room darkening; light coloured ones diffuse and mellow bright light.)

Dakota - a semi-opaque fabric with a canvas-like texture. Dakota is available up to 74” wide and 120” in height.

Things you should know about this product:

Minimum blind width: 12”
Minimum blind height: 12"
Inside mount depth: 1 1/2”
Inside mount depth fully recessed: 2 1/4”

Please Note: When you order a certain width, you are ordering the width of the headrail. The fabric will always be narrower than the headrail to allow it to fit inside. In the case of roller shades, the fabric will be one full inch narrower than the headrail. You can correct for this by adding one inch to your measurements for an outside mount. For an inside mount, you will have a 1/2" light gap on each side of the shade.

All our shades come with a plain hem as it is the preferred hem style when it’s important to minimize the light leakage especially on inside mount applications.

Care and Maintenance

Hunter Douglas Window Shades are as easy to care for as they are to operate. The fabrics are anti-static and naturally repel dust. An occasional dusting with a feather duster or non-abrasive material duster is all that is needed for routine cleaning of all window shades. Fabric shades may also be vacuumed with a soft bristle attachment. Shades made of fiberglass and PVC may be wiped with a soft, damp sponge and lukewarm water.
